Jordan has long been the country for up-and-coming musicians, but Sab3awi was trying to change that by popularizing rap music in his hometown “Irbid”, especially that “Rap” wasn’t so familiar to a large group of people in Jordan. To that end, Anas shot to fame in 2018, starring releasing
his hits Jaremet Hob “Love Crime”, Wardeh Soda “Black Rose”, Shoft “Did You See” and others.
On Aug 30 of 2020, Sab3awi announced that, for personal and religious reasons, he will no longer be making music; He was attacked not only from social media; also from family and acquaintances due to what so-called “customs and traditions”, also his accounts were hacked more than once whether from Instagram or Facebook!! Which put him in a bad situation; psychologically.
Sab3awi explained that the main reason he retired is “the pressure that was forced on him, the different levels of expectations that people have cornered him within, and the constant labeling”. He said that he needed a break to “recharge himself without being cornered”
On Dec 31. 2021, Sab3awi returned to the music industry with the
release of ‘Rje3t men el mout’ [Back from the death] and reactivated all his social media accounts.
